Barrister George O. Akwazie is the Founder of George Akwazie Foundation and a Seasoned Banker, Legal Practitioner, and Chartered Accountant with over three decades of professional experience in finance, law, corporate governance, and strategic leadership. He holds degrees in Business Administration, Law, International Law and Diplomacy, and an MBA from the University of Lagos, and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Commonwealth Lawyers Association and International Bar Association (IBA). He is the Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Geomel Group of Companies and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a Certified Professional Forensic Accountant (ICFA). Barrister George Akwazie has held senior leadership roles in major financial institutions, including Union Bank of Nigeria and Trust Bank of Africa, and has served as a Lead Consultant to Committees of the National Assembly on banking and capital market reforms. Through George Akwazie Foundation, he channels his lifelong commitment to integrity, service, and nation building into empowering widows, vulnerable families, and underserved communities toward dignity, independence, and sustainable development.

Arc. Kelechi Ayodamola Akwazie is an Architect and academic with specialized expertise in healthcare and community-focused design. He holds advanced degrees in Architecture from the University of Kansas and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with research focused on improving access to healthcare and understanding the impact of the built environment on quality of life. He has professional experience with international architecture and engineering firms in the United States, contributing to major civic and healthcare projects. He has also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at leading universities, supporting architectural education and research. A LEED Green Associate, he brings valuable insight into sustainable development, healthcare environments, and strategic planning to the Foundation’s mission.

Bridget Taiwo Akwazie is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Management Consultant with over thirty years of professional experience in banking, finance, and taxation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Lagos and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Bankers. She brings strong expertise in financial management, compliance, and strategic advisory to the Foundation.

Philomena Akwazie served and retired from the Nigerian Army after 28 years of meritorious service. She is a seasoned Administrator per excellence.

Martina Ngozi Anams holds a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies and served in the Federal Ministry of Works for thirty five years. She contributes strong administrative and public service experience.

Augustina Ezimma Nwosu is a seasoned businesswoman with practical experience in entrepreneurship and community engagements.

Leticia Okorie holds a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Administration and served in the Federal Ministry of National Population for over thirty years. She brings administrative expertise and public service values.

Calista Akwazie holds a National Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Federal Polytechnic Ede in Osun State and a B.A in Public Administration from Lagos State University. She has over 20 years’ experience in Administration.
